One month!!

It's been one month?!?! holy cow. It kinda flew by! I hope this continues! haha Im sure it will with school and going to Ukraine! haha he's doing great! I am so proud of him and his determination to serve with obedience! Here's a few...ok a lot of pics!  and an amazing song! BRING ON MONTH 2!!!

I'm a little excited...

 I am gonna send a tie for every month and write notes on the back of them:) This is Tie #1.^ I also sent a tub of the blue powerade mix. his favorite:) and some quotes and notes, and some pics!

Clean checks, LetterS and Recorders

 I was just sooo happy to get my 2nd letter. haha he's doing great and i just love his funny self. haha it makes me feel great knowing he's still my ky. 

 In his letter he sent me the receipt of their room inspection because they were so proud of themselves for getting the best you could get. "commendable" They were sooo pumped way to go!  Anyone wanna claim Elder Peterson, Elder Campbell or Elder Bickley? let me know.

 In his letter Ky was telling me that we should get tape recorders. I totally wanted to do it before he left but we got so busy that i totally forgot. So today i ran to the store lickidy split and got one.   im so excited to hear his voice! I love this thing. its already been so useful cuz there are things i always want to tell him about so i write them down and then when i go to write it in my letter im like...what should i say about that? ha im so excited for him to get that package.

Mail Time and cuteness

Yup thats pretty much me on fridays at noon ^. I got my first letter! wow the first letter days was kinda rough. i wasn't expecting it to be hard. It made me miss him sooo much. mmmm i miss his laugh and his goober-ness. I miss playing and piggy backs and even just him looking at me. ha ok enough mushy mushy. But his personality shines through in his letters a lot. Im so glad!

He's doing so well!! He says that he is already farthest along in the language (Russian) and he loves it. ahhhhh Im SO DANG PROUD! haha my boy is one of those missionaries!! wow! unreal.  Got to go spend some time with his fam though which is always my fave. I'm so blessed to have great people in my life!

Ok on a random note...  i saw this kid that was on Britain's Got Talent. WATCH THIS!!! his own song and he wont tell the girls name.. so cute! and he's definitely a great singer AND writer! he starts singing at 2:35 if you wanna skip ahead:)

Week one without Ky.

Well to tell the truth, i thought something was wrong with me because i was so happy all week. I was praying so much that I just felt so good and the proud feeling of him out there just would not ware off. I had talked to his mom, she sent me pics of him before they dropped him off and stuff and i even got a call from him a couple hours before he went in and he sounded  good! I was doing great...untill saturday, all week even though I was so happy I just wanted to know what was going on and if he was ok, if he got a good companion and such. I was so worried that I let all that fear and my missing him sink in a little...and so I wasn't so good anymore.  And then, his mom called me. (at perfect timing i might add) and said that she got a quick letter from him!!! His pdays are wednesday which is when he got in there so he could write his family but he wasn't able to write me. But he is doing soooo good! he got a Great companion. Elder Bickley from Seattle Washington. So thank you Elder Bickley for taking care of my ky! He did give me a quick shout out in the letter which was much needed and melted my heart a little bit. I am soooo glad he's doing so well! . ahhh I have been so busy this week it FLEW by. My friends and mom have been amazing. I am so very blessed.

 First night without ky. My girl Alyssa brought me ben and jerry's, my mom was stocked up on pretzels and sprite ( my comfort food, i never drink pop unless its sprite and if its that girls time or im sick or really sad.) we watched the lucky one and they kept me happy

 The next day while he was in utah, I went to his house to get our birds and move them to my house, and I laid in his bed (like he told me to) and spent a few minutes just soaking up his room. It was kinda weird but very nice. Thank you claire for coming:)

 Mailing my first letter!!! ha I was soo giddy! I wrote two pages and my nephew Jaden who is obssesed with kyler drew him a picture and i sent him a few snap shots.

 A pic his mom sent me. Learning how to sew a button right before going into the MTC sooo precious. She saved it! so cute! She is doing a cute missionary memorial book. its gonna be awesome!

So glad they went to utah a day early, Ky went through a session in the SLC temple and he loved it. It was so good he got to do that. he is such an amazing man. I love him.

The farewell

saying goodbye to My Ky was seriously the hardest thing i've ever done, but the most hopeful thing also. The night of when i went home...was AWFUL! When i still couldn't sleep at 2 in the morning my sweet mom came and rubbed my back and slept with me. She gave me such great advice and is so good to me. I got to be there for his setting apart and wow. Im so glad I stayed. It was awesome to hear the blessing and see the transition of my ky being made a missionary! SO AWESOME! I heard some girls say dont do it because you cant hug after that. But it really wasnt hard for me not to hug him. YOU BET i WANTED to! but Ky is so obedient already and he will be blessed for it. All in all, goodbye is so hard, but i know why we're doing this and am sooo proud of this boy!
